Dermal Fillers
The basics, clearly explained.
Dermal fillers are injectable gels — most commonly made from hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in the skin and is responsible for its hydration, volume and bounce. As we age, hyaluronic acid levels decline and the face gradually loses the structural support it once had. Fillers restore that support precisely and immediately, with results that are visible straight away.
Modern fillers are temporary, safe, and thoroughly tested. They are not all the same — different products have different consistencies, longevity and behaviour, and choosing the right one for the right area is a significant part of achieving a natural result. At Mulberry House, our clinical team works with a carefully selected range of products from leading manufacturers, matching the filler to the patient and the area being treated rather than defaulting to a single product for everything.
All filler treatments at Mulberry House are performed by our clinical team — doctors with the training, experience and clinical judgement to achieve results that are consistently natural, safe and appropriate for each individual patient.
The concerns dermal fillers address.
Dermal fillers can be used to treat a wide range of concerns across the face. The most commonly treated areas include lip enhancement for volume, shape and definition, cheek fillers for restoring volume and definition to the mid-face, chin fillers for improving chin projection and facial balance, and jawline fillers for definition and lift along the jawline.
Fillers are also used for tear trough treatment to soften under-eye hollows and dark circles, non-surgical rhinoplasty to reshape the nose without surgery, the 8-Point Facelift for comprehensive lifting and rejuvenation, and the Multi-Point Face Lift — a more advanced and individualised evolution of the 8-point technique.
A considered range, not a single solution.
At Mulberry House, our clinical team works with products from three established filler ranges — Juvéderm®, Belotero® and Aliaxin® — as well as Radiesse®, a calcium hydroxylapatite filler with additional collagen-stimulating properties. Between them, these ranges offer a choice of products suited to every area of the face and every type of concern, from the finest superficial lines to structural volume restoration.
Juvéderm® — one of the world’s most widely used filler ranges.
Belotero® — exceptionally soft and natural in the tissue.
Radiesse® — immediate volume with collagen-stimulating benefit.
Aliaxin® — a versatile range with strong structural options.
Experience, judgement, and medical oversight.
Dermal fillers became a prescription-only treatment in the UK in 2023, a recognition that they are medical procedures requiring proper clinical oversight, not cosmetic treatments anyone can perform. At Mulberry House, our clinical team has been performing filler treatments for over two decades, bringing both the technical skill and the clinical judgement that complex facial work demands.
The consultation is where that judgement begins. Your clinician will assess your face, discuss your concerns honestly, and recommend the approach most likely to achieve the result you are looking for — which may or may not involve fillers, and may involve more or less than you expected. There is never any pressure to proceed.
