Skin Boosters

Not filler. Not volume. Something quieter — and for many patients, more transformative.

Setting realistic expectations.

Skin boosters are not fillers. They won’t address significant volume loss, deep folds or facial structure — those concerns are better served by dermal fillers or collagen stimulators. What skin boosters do particularly well is improve the quality, texture and radiance of the skin itself, and treat areas — the under-eye, the neck, fine lines around the mouth — where other treatments can’t easily reach.

They are also not a single treatment. The products in this category work through meaningfully different mechanisms, and choosing the right one depends on what the skin actually needs. The consultation at Mulberry House will always address this rather than recommending whatever is most popular.

Polynucleotides — tissue regeneration and cellular repair.

Tissue-regenerating injectables derived from purified salmon DNA. Work at a cellular level to support repair, improve skin quality and reduce fine lines — particularly effective for fragile, sun-damaged or reactive skin, and in delicate areas such as the under-eye.

A more targeted choice than Profhilo® where the primary need is repair and regeneration rather than hydration.

Profhilo® — the benchmark treatment for skin quality.

The most recognised skin booster in the UK and a core treatment at Mulberry House. A uniquely high-concentration hyaluronic acid product that hydrates the skin deeply and triggers a bioremodelling effect in the surrounding tissue — stimulating collagen and elastin production as well as improving hydration.

Delivered via just five injection points on each side of the face. Typically two sessions a month apart, with maintenance every six months. The benchmark treatment for patients new to this category.

Belotero® Revive — A skin quality injectable from the trusted Belotero® family, combining hyaluronic acid with glycerol for sustained hydration and improved skin texture. A natural choice for patients already familiar with Belotero® as a filler.

Exosomes — Purasomes™ — The newest addition to the clinic’s skin quality offering. Exosome therapy uses cell-signalling molecules to support skin renewal at a biological level, representing the emerging frontier of regenerative aesthetics. Discussed in full at consultation.

Exosomes

Mesotherapy — A technique delivering a bespoke cocktail of active ingredients — hyaluronic acid, vitamins, minerals, peptides and antioxidants — directly into the mid-layer of the skin. At Mulberry House, mesotherapy is used with particular focus on the delicate skin around the eyes, an area where few treatments can safely and effectively work. Offered as part of a consultation-led skin plan.

Who benefits most.

Skin boosters work best for patients who feel their skin has lost its glow, hydration or smoothness over time, who are noticing fine lines, dullness or uneven texture rather than volume loss, or who want to improve and maintain skin quality alongside other treatments.

They work particularly well in combination with other treatments — a skin booster alongside filler or anti-wrinkle injections gives the skin a quality and radiance that structural treatments alone cannot achieve.

For patients uncertain which treatment is right for them, the consultation will provide a clear recommendation based on the skin’s actual condition and the patient’s goals.
