Chemical peels work by removing the outer layer of dead and damaged skin cells in an intensive exfoliation, revealing the fresher, more radiant skin beneath. They are an effective treatment for improving skin tone and texture, tackling acne and congestion, and addressing early signs of ageing.
Our current peel of choice is the CLINICCARE Glow Peel — a superficial glycolic acid peel developed for professional clinical use. Glycolic acid is one of the most effective alpha hydroxy acids at dissolving the bonds between dead skin cells, accelerating the skin's natural renewal process and stimulating collagen synthesis in the deeper layers.
The peel is applied for a carefully controlled period and then neutralised, followed by a soothing hyaluronic acid sheet mask. The process is gentle, precise, and tailored to your skin on the day.
The results.
The result is skin that looks and feels genuinely refreshed — brighter, smoother, more even in tone. With a course of treatments, fine lines soften, pigmentation fades, acne and congestion improve, and the overall quality and clarity of the skin builds progressively.
Combining a chemical peel with microdermabrasion gives a stronger overall result — the two treatments complement each other well, offering greater flexibility and a more significant improvement in skin clarity and texture while remaining comfortable with no meaningful downtime.
What to expect.
Treatment takes around 45 minutes. During application you will feel a mild tingling or warmth — nothing uncomfortable. Afterwards your skin may look slightly flushed, which settles within a few hours. Some patients notice light flaking or dryness in the days following treatment as the skin renews — this is the process working as it should, and is easily managed with a good moisturiser and SPF.
Peels are not suitable during pregnancy or for those currently taking Roaccutane. We will always review your skin before treatment to confirm suitability.
