Most skin concerns don’t arrive alone. Pigmentation, sun damage and redness tend to sit alongside uneven texture, fine lines and loss of skin structure. Photofabulous™ addresses both in one session — using IPL to target tone, redness and pigmentation, and ResurFX™ fractional laser to work beneath the surface, stimulating new collagen and improving texture, scarring and skin quality.
Neither technology alone addresses everything. Together they deliver a level of overall rejuvenation that would otherwise require two separate treatments and two separate recovery periods.
The concerns it addresses.
Photofabulous™ is particularly effective for sun-damaged and photoaged skin where changes in tone and texture have developed together — age spots, sun spots, uneven pigmentation, diffuse redness and rosacea, broken capillaries, fine lines, acne scarring, and overall dullness and loss of skin clarity.
If your concerns are primarily textural — scarring, deeper lines or skin quality alone — ResurFX™ as a standalone treatment may be the more targeted choice. We will advise at consultation.
What to expect.
A session takes 30 to 45 minutes. A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand. Most patients experience mild warmth during treatment and some redness afterwards, which typically settles within 24 hours. Pigmentation may appear slightly darker in the days following IPL before fading — this is a normal part of the process.
A course of three to five sessions is recommended for optimal results, though improvement is visible after the first treatment.
